Say an Atto being dropped off at the chargers here at Horsham on the weekend so dropped in to suss it out. He said the last 50km dissapeared in one minute. Turns out trying to get from shepparton to horsham without charging on the way didnt work, and he was working off the kms remaining on the display which does not work. Seriously BYD, if you cant make this truely dynamic (which you said you did but you didnt), then remove it from the heads up

Latest update should make the range dynamic. Also it does habe the average power used for the last 50km. Divide it by the state of charge. In the end its the drivers fault

There's a difference between dynamic and accurate. It could be better, but it's never going to be a guarantee.

Yes the range meter doesn't work, my 10 year old daughter is better at maths than the software engineers at BYD.

Why do people do this and then blame the tech for their own foolishness?

Forget about range, if available electrons is below 50% stop and top up. 👍

About 3 klms per percentage point and you won't get in trouble, hwy that is ....

322km. Must have had a head wind or started with less than 100%. Poor planning.

Basic maths is all thats needed on a trip as they will all vary, due to temp, wind , wet or dry etc. Charge to 100% and reset the A trip meter. When down to 75% of battery take note of Kms done and multiply by 4 to get your range for that day
