It's only 170 km from Noosa to Hervey Bay/River Heads... If I were you I'd just do a charge in Maryborough either on your way up or on the way back... It will take approx 30+ minutes the charger is in the middle of town. Go for a walk & explore Maryborough's beautiful & Historical buildings ...

Yes it does drop off rather quickly when you get down to low percentages.

Plus it was dark - stormy & raining over most of Brisbane @ that time which will use up more of your battery life.

Never ever look or trust km guesstimate.

You must be hard on tyres…my Batman’s have done 32,000 km now & are only half worn out.
I’m expecting to get 50,000 to 60,000 km out of them.

Topic: Hi, I’m looking at purchasing a BYD seal dynamic. I’ve never owned an electric car before. Can anyone advise how long it

I'd strongly suggest you consider the Premium instead. The extra $8k gets you a lot of extras such as:

Better tyres
Better brakes
Bigger battery
Longer range
Real leather seats
Heads up display
More performance
Faster DC charging

I also think it would have better resale value too.

Fark me, so, all this wizardry, can't remotely turn it off/immobilise it, but we can turn on the seat heaters

For me it was looks, battery tech, interior fit & finish, I prefer buttons and stalks over using main screen for everything, instrument cluster and HUD are also important in my decision. Also BYD's vertical integration where 75% of the Seal's components and made in house.

Also will there be a price rise in 2024. In NSW come 1 Jan 2024, stamp duty will apply to EVs so automatically price will be going up.
