BYDTalk collects account information (username, email and password hash), public posts, replies, likes, optional vehicle information, translation feedback and technical data needed to operate and protect the forum, such as IP addresses and timestamps. Optional vehicle information is displayed on your profile. Do not publish personal data you do not want to make public.
Public titles, posts and replies are automatically sent to OpenRouter and its selected model provider for translation and cross-language search. Account email addresses, password hashes and private account records are not included in translation requests. Text you put inside a public post is still part of that public content. Code, commands, numeric versions and fenced logs are protected during translation. Redact sensitive material before submitting it.
Requests use ordinary OpenRouter routes. OpenRouter and the selected model provider process public content under their applicable data policies; BYDTalk does not promise zero retention. BYDTalk stores original content, translations, language and model identifiers, task status and usage cost so it can serve translations, search across languages and handle feedback. Translated public content has public language URLs and can be indexed by search engines. All versions refer to the same underlying discussion and replies. This configuration does not imply that all processing stays in Japan.
Hosting and the forum database are on Zeabur's Tencent Tokyo server. Cloudflare provides DNS, HTTPS/proxy services where enabled, and private R2 file backups. Providers may process information in other countries. The forum uses session, security and reading-language cookies. No advertising or analytics tracker is enabled by this initial configuration.
The theme loads its font from Google Fonts. Code syntax highlighting can load scripts from jsDelivr. Posts may also contain images or links hosted by third parties; loading that material may send your IP address and browser request information to those hosts.
Public discussion content is retained while relevant to the community. Account access, correction, deletion and moderation requests can be sent to privacy@bydtalk.com. Search engines and third parties may retain copies independently. Moderation removal prevents further public display and search discovery in BYDTalk; backups expire according to their configured retention and are not immediately rewritten. Database and upload backups are kept for 30 days.
This notice describes the initial technical configuration. Changes to providers, analytics, retention or data use require a corresponding update to this notice.
