The Australian Warranty and Service Handbook, printed page 39, explains that a new owner should update ownership details and provide proof of ownership to transfer BYD AUTO app registration to their nominated email. Add app registration, physical keys and vehicle paperwork to the handover checklist. Receiving the keys does not by itself confirm that remote-account access has been handled.
