BYD's Australian AC Charger page distinguishes 7 kW single-phase and 11 kW three-phase versions. Actual charging speed depends on the vehicle's onboard charger and installation capacity, among other factors. Buying an 11 kW unit does not mean every car can accept 11 kW.
Before requesting an installation quote, list the exact trim's AC limit, your single- or three-phase supply, cable route and typical daily energy requirement. The manufacturer requires installation by a licensed electrician.
