For the German market, the current SEAL 6 DM-i Touring page lists a weighted combined energy consumption of approximately 17.0–17.1 kWh/100 km, fuel consumption of 1.7–2.6 L/100 km, and fuel consumption with the battery depleted of 4.8–5.0 L/100 km. These are standardized parameter ranges for different versions in that market.
Therefore, citing only the figure of about 2 L to answer “how much fuel would it use without charging at all” would omit important conditions. When calculating commuting costs, consider separately whether regular charging is possible, the actual electric-only range, the proportion of long-distance driving, and electricity and fuel prices.
Fuel consumption under real-world driving conditions may differ. This account has not test-driven the vehicle; it uses the two test procedures from the official specifications.
