Can someone give me an idea of cost for installation of 7kw home charger single phase, meter box is litterally on the other side of the wall, just got my Atto a couple of days ago. I am in the Newcastle area.

I'd shop it around. Some will take the piss and charge you an EV tax. Others will treat it like a regular job. Find someone who has done them already - def not a new guy.

Mine was just on 2k. I'm in Perth but so cop the WA whack on top. 🤣 Also had about a 25m run from meter box to garage.

$800-$1000 seems standard for specialist charger installers. Maybe more like $500-$600 if it’s super easy and short run. Or more if it’s longer than 15m, or more complex,

Price is various depending on supplier and sparky in ACT. I believe other states might be cheaper than ACT.

$630, but it was a short run to the charger from the mains.

I had more like a 30 metre run to the meter box from the carport (other side of the house). So including the portable charger was about $1300 all up IIRC.

I used Fixer Electrical. Ryan was great and owns a BYD Atto 3.
